Situated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts is a center for the performing arts. There are many companies and famed local art organization who consider the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts as their home. The main being Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Florentine Opera, Milwaukee Ballet and First Stage Children's Theater.

The theater is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, at the corner of Water Street and State Street. It opened in 1969 after construction which started in 1966 finished. It is designed by architect Harry Weese. In 1994, following a donation worth 25 million dollars, from the Marcus Corporation, the venue, earlier known as the Performing Arts Center was renamed as the Marcus Center.

The center boasts many theaters and pavilions within it, each catering to its own form of entertainment. There is the Uihlein Hall, the largest hall in the center. At the Uihlein Hall, performances ranging from opera, film screenings, musicals, dance programs, theatrical productions etc. all take place. Also, there is the Todd Wehr Hall, the comparatively smaller hall which plays hosts to conferences, plays, lectures and more.
