The Harley Davidson Museum, Milwaukee, is an amazing place to be at. The museum offers unforgettable tours and test rides for the new Harley Davidson bikes. The museum is located at 400, Canal Street in Milwaukee. It is open Monday and Wednesday from 9 am till 6pm, on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am till 8pm, and on Friday and Sunday from 9pm till 6pm. The museum was opened to the general public on July 12, 2008.

The museum is 130,000 square-feet. It offers you an amazing Harley-Davidson experience. The museum has unique exhibits on display. There is an awesome motorcycle collection along with rare artifacts. You can read archives or read 'Living the Legend rivets.' The museum site is 20 acres and has a river walk and a waterfront as well.

The shop outside the museum sells great items which you will forever cherish. The museum has 3 buildings along with this artifacts shop. Tickets can be purchased online or at the museum itself. There are special offers available for group tours. Museum guided tours will cost you an additional $4 per person. If you want an in-depth Back Roads tour, it will cost you an additional $20 per person.

The museum has bike nights on every Thursday. It has also hosted many stunts and music shows. There are ride challenges for you too. The museum ambassador is incidentally a bird called glory, a bald eagle that represents the spirit of the Harley Davidson family fans across the world.

The Harley Davidson Museum located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin is an excellent display of the history of the motorcycles manufactured by the Harley Davidson Motor company. It is a 130,000 sq. ft. complex consisting of 3 buildings spread over an enormous 20 acres.

Motorcycle fans can have a blast at this place and stir up their nostalgia, reminiscing their old days.

The museum features both permanent exhibits as well as some temporary exhibits.

The museum primarily has 6 exhibits each with its own specialty. The Motorcycle Gallery is the most prominent exhibit which runs the length of the building. It features a wide array of motorcycles produced by the motor company over the years.

The Harley Davidson Journey is a special exhibit of the rise of the company from a wooden shack to the number one motorcycle company in the country. The main attraction of this gallery is the "Serial Number One'. This is the oldest known motorcycle manufactured by the company and is encased in glass.

Apart from these, the other galleries include the Engine Room, the Clubs and Competition gallery, Tank gallery and the Custom Culture Gallery. Other than enjoying the display of motorcycles, you can also create a custom steel rivet with your name engraved on it and be a part of this wonderful company.

For good measure, you will have these displayed these on the walls and plaza of the Harley Davidson. Hungry chaps can visit the patio which serves good food. You can even eat out here without a ticket. Speaking of tickets, you can book those here.

Shop Hours: Harley-Davidson Museum shop offers unique Museum-inspired gifts. It's located right across from the museum. Everyday, the shop opens at exactly the same time with the museum. Yet it's closed half an hour later than the museum.

Motor Bar & Restaurant Hours: Motor Bar & Restaurant is located across H-D museum. It serves a menu of bold American classics which may trigger your memories. Some recommended dishes include the peach cobbler, smoked BBQ ribs, lake-caught Walleye, Milwaukee's best sausage and cheese and etc.

The opening hour of Motor is from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the Motor is opened at the same time while closed an hour later. You should notice that Motor might be closed for private events now and then. And the restaurant will be closed from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on the following dates:

Cafe Racer Hours: Cafe Racer is located across H-D museum as well. It's a great place to hang out with your old friends. Cafe Racer serves breakfast pastries, their proudly brewed Starbucks Coffee, free access to Internet and much more. Plus you can order customized sandwich and custard.

Cafe Racer is open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm every day.

Notes: You don't need a museum ticket to dine at either of the above restaurants. Just dig in whenever your stomach calls.
