Riversplash!

Riversplash!, a three-day party along the Milwaukee River, is the special yearly event that signals the start of summer for Wisconsin locals. The three-day fun starts with the local officials' paddleboat race. Other activities worth seeing include canoeing, water contests, fireworks, children's activities and nightly performances.

The Irish Fest

This is a four-day event that showcases the Irish heritage. It is touted by the Smithsonian Institution as the biggest and best Irish cultural festival in North America.
