Much of the early growth of Milwaukee is credited to Lake Michigan, as many early settlers arrived into the city because they found it easy to settle by the shores of the lake.

There were three settlements early on namely, Juneau town, Kilbourntown, and Walker's Poin.

There was even an early war to take control, of a bridge, but eventually things got sorted out, and all the three settlements came together to put together a city called Milwaukee.

The city of Milwaukee in Wisconsin is formed by combining a few settlements of native tribes of America. The first immigrants coming to this city were the French trappers and traders. The settlements started increasing from the 1830s and by the year 1837 the city became quite populated.
