Tip 3 - Beer enthusiasts can always visit the Beer Museum in Milwaukee which strove to preserve the rich heritage of local breweries and saloons. All history related to beer and beer making in the Milwaukee region is preserved at the beer museum. Some famous names attached to the beer museum are Miller Brewing Company. It is regularly frequented by history buffs and industry professionals alike. So don't give it a miss.

Tip 4 - Charles Allis Art Museum has a splendid collection of sculpture, print, painting and ceramics. One can see paintings from the 19th century by American artists of the time in addition to Japanese works and bowls and vases with lot of intricate details. There are many places in Milwaukee, which offers a good musical experience for connoisseurs. If you are looking for a sustainable musical experience then Summerfest Milw World Festival is the place to be. This is an 11 day musical bonanza on Milwaukee lake front with lovely people and food. The festival usually takes off in mid June and continues up to early July. The main show takes place on the 23000 capacity Marcus Amphitheater.

The other places of musical experience include local clubs, pubs, discotheques and also theater halls. Located on the South Kinnickinnic Avenue, Highbury is a musical bar, with a touch of sporting atmosphere. This is a good place to watch the soccer games and nibble over their great snacks. The club also organizes many musical events to set the mood on fire.

One of Wisconsin's largest cities Milwaukee borders Lake Michigan on the Western shore. It is situated ninety miles on the North to Chicago. The city was earlier noted for its breweries gaining fame because of the four largest breweries of the world, Pabst, Schlitz, Miller, Blatz. This great Milwaukee has recently changed its image playing host to more than fifteen universities and colleges.

Music like breweries has been a long history activity starting with the organizing of the musical society known as 'Milwaukee Beethoven Society'. This well known first organized musical society was formed in 1843 and later was replaced by the Milwaukee Musical Society.
