Built in Milwaukee's Yankee Hill Historic District in 1929, the Knickerbocker on the Lake is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Guests can get panoramic views of Milwaukee & Lake Michigan in a number of their rooms. It is a hotel in old world atmosphere with modern amenities including digital cable, high-speed Internet, voicemail, fully equipped kitchens and so on. Staying here to have a brunch is a great idea and sitting outdoors is an added bonus. The hotel is also just 15 minutes from the airport, near festival grounds, sports venues, theatre district restaurants, clubs and museums. Totally a great hotel for travelers to live in!

Old hotel charm, great location - great residential hotel with suberb location - this is a residential hotel with condo owners who live here - more character than your average chain hotel - a good value for long-term stays
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable - it was spacious, nice view, clean and very comfortable - parking was extra and very reasonable - if you want a great space and a nice residential feel, it's perfect - the staff was wonderful Friendliest staff you will ever encounter- great experience, great hospitality
The location was perfect, right next to the lake - it was walking distance to Summer fest - fantastic restaurants, events, and churches within easy walking distance - it was beautifully located close to the lake within a somewhat residential area
