Tip 2 - Harley aficionados can visit the Harley Museum in Milwaukee to get a glimpse of how Harley engines are made. The museum exhibits include famous bikes ridden by legendary riders, Harley bikes that were also a part of the history. You can visit the clubs and competitions section, customized Harleys, Motorcycle galleries of years from 1903s to the present day.

Tip 3 - Beer enthusiasts can always visit the Beer Museum in Milwaukee which strove to preserve the rich heritage of local breweries and saloons. All history related to beer and beer making in the Milwaukee region is preserved at the beer museum. Some famous names attached to the beer museum are Miller Brewing Company. It is regularly frequented by history buffs and industry professionals alike. So don't give it a miss.

Tip 4 - Charles Allis Art Museum has a splendid collection of sculpture, print, painting and ceramics. One can see paintings from the 19th century by American artists of the time in addition to Japanese works and bowls and vases with lot of intricate details. Some of the ones you should look out for are vase having 1000 faces and bowl with 3000 butterflies on it.

Riverside Theater

Riverside Theater located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a concert hall. It is known as one of the most graceful theatres in Milwaukee. It opened in the year 1928. Ever since, it has been the venue for many musical concerts and shows of all kinds. Radio, Keith and Vaudeville were on the look out for a fancier and larger venue, which would replace their Majestic Theater built in 1908.

The Empire Hotel and Tavern at the prominent intersection of Grand Avenue, now known as Wisconsin Avenue, was demolished. In its place was built the Riverside Theater.

The Riverside Theater is a landmark building and Milwaukee area; travel is incomplete without a visit to the theater. It has witnessed many great artists come and perform, over the years. There have been the likes of Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, The Flaming Lips, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Mason, Tool, Abbott and Costello, Tangerine Dream in the years 1977 and 1988 and Bob Dylan who has come thrice, in the years 1990, 1994 and 2008. The concert hall has the capacity to seat 2,460 people at one time. Its architects were Thomas Rose and Charles Kirchoff.

A fire in the year 1966 proved to be disastrous and most of the theater was burnt down. However the theatre was rebuilt and it had a grand re-opening in the year 1984. This ceremony was attended by thousands of people. They wanted to see the re-draped and newly lighted theater.
