Milwaukee County Library is a government based library system located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The main library consists of central library and 12 side branches. It is the biggest public library in Wisconsin. This central library is the headquarters of the Milwaukee public library and for the Milwaukee country federated library system.
This library has the Art, Music and Recreation department was started in the October 1999. The department entrance is mosaic floor titled "Unswept Room" by the famous artist Steven Ferren. This library also got the children's room. This room has 31 different animal shapes in myriad of colors. This is to create more innovations and attractions in the young souls and develop their power of thinking and performing.
Humanities section in the library provide huge reference in the areas related to the philosophy, religion, education, the military and government, law, language and literature, history, travel, social sciences, biography and genealogy.
